Biography

Martin Mangez-Casey advises Hype Luxury on brand positioning, narrative, and long-term strategy.

Martin served as Global Vice President of Digital Communication, Strategic Planning & Brand Experience at Louis Vuitton, where he led brand communications strategy across all markets and built LV Productions, the maison's original long-form content studio, originating projects including the America's Cup documentary developed with Skydance and the Murakami x Louis Vuitton content slate.

Previously, he was Managing Director and Chief Strategy Officer of VML Paris, a WPP company, where he originated Group Therapy, a feature-length documentary co-developed with Kevin Hart's Hartbeat and distributed on Prime Video, winning honors at the Tribeca Film Festival, Cannes Lions, and the Clio Awards. Earlier, he launched Snap Inc.'s creative strategy practice for France and Southern Europe and served as International Strategy Director at BBDO Worldwide, working with Hennessy, Vacheron Constantin, and McDonald's.

Martin is the Founder of PAINPERDU, a strategic advisory studio operating between Paris and Los Angeles, a lecturer at HEC Paris in the school's Luxury Certificate program, and a jury member for the D&AD Awards in the Luxury category. He began his career as a strategy consultant at Accenture and holds a Master's in Economics from EM Lyon Business School.
